These formulas are arrived at using the fact that TSOL is 299,792,458 meters per second. One gravity (as we measure it) is 9.81 meters per second per second (or 9.81m/s2). One hour is equal to (60secondsX60minutes=3600 seconds), one day equals 24 hours, one year is equal to 365 days (no leap years calculated). The %POTSOL is simply the percentage of the speed of light, such as 10%, 20%, etc. and is notated by a decimal point preceding the number (i.e. 10% being displayed as .1).
