JAN RUKR'S
SKYLAB PROJECT
_____________________________________
Here are several views of an orbital ANSA laboratory in use during the early to mid '70's as part of the overall ANSA space flight program. The key core element of this design is of course the ANSA spacecraft as also envisioned 'in whole' by Jan Rukr.
You will notice that the ANSA SKYLAB rides into orbit on the belly of the Icarus
Once deployed, the ANSA SKYLAB extends solar panels and sophisticated electronic systems to monitor situations on Earth and in space.
A top view of the ANSA SKYLAB deployed. Notice the docking points (3) on top as well as the main airlock hatch through which the astronauts gain entry to the SKYLAB vehicle. The solar panels are now fully deployed.
