Well, FC, that saying is a nice rule to live by, but unfortunately the Harley
owners didnt seem to understand it the first time around a decade ago, which is why
my site exists today.
Theres another saying as well: Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice,
shame on me. I turned the other cheek, and it got slapped as well. Now the kid
gloves are off and the scoggins are whining and crying about how I dont play fair,
or I hurt their feelings. Boo hoo, pass me a tissue, you snake pimp butt muppet, I may be
about to get misty eyed. I didnt start this argument, but I will finish it.
Theres also websites that trash the jap an brit scooters also.
Yeah, but theyre made by ignorant
scoggins who use AOL (like yourself) to access the Internet or they have a Geo-shitties
URL and they arent nearly as funny as my site, which is why you scoggins are in such
an uproar. My site exists not because I dont like Harleys, but because I don't like
idiots (and a lot of idiots ride Harleys).
Since the Harley owners ignore this golden rule which you hold so dearly, I
choose to throw it out as well. I refuse to be hampered by artificially ignorant rules of
engagement or double standards just to make people like you feel better. I wont play
by your double standards, what is good for you and your kind is good for me. Heres
another rule you might like to learn; treat others as you would have them treat
you. Im treating the Harley owners just as they have shown me that they want
to be treated.
Ive riden all kinds of bikes since i was 12 , enjoy what ya have and
dont knock others makes , especially harleys.
Again, advice that your Harley brethren should have taken to heart a long time ago. And
why should I pay special heed to not knocking Harleys? Are they somehow better than other
bikes, FC? Or are you just predisposed to high priced trendy junk and the
bitter truth that goes with owning such?
Ive ridden all kinds of bikes as well, the Harleys were the biggest pieces of junk,
the most over priced, the most over hyped, and had the least intelligent riders on them.
My site is reactive, not proactive. I only respond to the Harley riders who send me death
threats and poorly written email, perhaps you should preach to them instead, though I
doubt they would be smart enough to understand the big words you would use. Bring crayons
and paper, youre going to have to draw them some pictures when you explain it to
them.
You've heard this before , they havent been around a 100 years for
nothin, give'em some credit
And as for why Harley has been around for a hundred years, the last almost third of a
century their survival was insured by begging, pleading, juicy government handouts, being
bought out by other companies, protective trade tariffs, and the marketing of their
product based on image, not performance to the lowest common denominator of society at the
highest price possible. If Harley sold their bikes based on performance, instead of on a
perceived image, they would go out of business within a week. The only credit Ill
give them is that they sure know how to walk on their knees and beg for handout when the
going gets tough. That and the fact that theyve set their marketing sights squarely
on the biggest group of dumbasses to ever have large sums of disposable income.
Yeah, Ill give them credit for that. Credit where credit is due, I always say.
